On this one, you'll begin with WWT at Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park, feeling the power and beauty of nature. There's an exploration of Cape Town before boarding the ship to continue your travels eastwards along the coast, stopping to explore lively cities and spectacular wilderness as you go.
Fly to Johannesburg airport and on arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel for overnight.
Today you will be met at your hotel and transferred back to the airport for your flight to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. On arrival at the airport, you will be met by an English-speaking guide and transferred to your lodge over the border in Botswana. Depending on your time of arrival the rest of the day is yours to start soaking up the local culture.
Today you'll embark on two game drive through the wilds of Chobe National Park, one in the early morning and one in the late afternoon. This is one of Africa's greatest wildlife destinations – which is saying something – famous for its huge herds of elephants and over 440 species of birds.
Enjoy one more game drive this morning before returning over the border into Zambia. This evening, step back into a bygone era aboard the Royal Livingstone Express, a luxurious steam train. There will be fine wining and dining onboard, as you travel from Livingstone to Victoria Falls Bridge for a glorious African sunset and your first glimpse at Victoria Falls.
Rise early for a spectacular sunrise cruise on the mighty Zambezi River, meandering through islands and sailing close to the banks to spot the abundant wildlife. Then it's time to discover one of the world's most awe-inspiring sights - Most-oa-Tunya, 'the Smoke that Thunders' or Victoria Falls. A whopping 1,708 metres across with a 90 to 107 metre drop into the Zambezi Gorge, the falls have been mesmerising travellers with its sheer power and beauty for centuries. Spend the afternoon exploring it from all angles.
Transfer to the airport and board a flight to Cape Town, South Africa's 'Mother City'. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. Later, dinner will be at the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
A city that weaves together natural beauty, rich history and a diverse mix of cultures, Cape Town is an adventure! After time for a look around the V&A Waterfront and lunch, visit Greenmarket Square and the Castle of Good Hope, Company Gardens and the colourful Bo-Kaap neighbourhood. Then, ascend Cape Town's most iconic landmark, Table Mountain via the cableway for amazing views over the city, along the coast and out to sea. Tonight, dine at famous restaurant Gold for a taste of typical African foods from across the continent.
After breakfast you will be met by an English-speaking guide and transferred to Cape Town's cruise terminal, to board your cruise. The rest of the day is free to explore the ship's facilities and settle in. Throughout your cruise, when your ship comes into port, there will be a range of excursions available to help you explore each destination. These excursions are at your own expense and are bookable on your cruise reservation.

Arrive in the harbour town of Mossel Bay. On the famous Garden Route, it is known for its beaches and glorious nature.
Return to Cape Town and spend a final day enjoying the amenities of your Azamara ship.
Disembark the Azamara Quest at Cape Town's cruise port, where you will be met by an English-speaking guide. Travel straight to Simon's Town and pay a visit to the penguins of Boulders Beach. Enjoy lunch before transferring to your hotel.
Embark on a tour of the renowned Cape Winelands, a region that is an absolute feast for the senses. Throughout the day you'll have three tastings in Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl, ride a tram through vast stretches of vineyards and enjoy a delicious lunch.
Fly to Australia, arriving home the following day.
